We give our Counter-Strike 1.6 and Condition Zero game server customers the option to install a dedicated HLTV proxy as an add-on to their servers. The installation and configuration procedures and made simple through our online control panel and can typically be setup in under 5 minutes, below are some basic steps to install the HLTV proxy. Please note that the ability to install the HLTV proxy is a paid add-on, if you did not select the HLTV proxy on the order form you will not have the ability to install the HLTV proxy.

1) Login to the web control panel and click on the “Game Servers” option. Then go ahead and click on the option that says “Other Game Services”

2) Select “HLTV” from the drop down of gaming services then click Install. Please allow 1-2 minutes for installation. If successful when you return to the "other gaming services" section you will now see the HLTV proxy installed and running.

3) In that same section now go ahead and select the HLTV server that has been installed. You should see a button towards the bottom of your screen that says "Default Config Files". Go ahead and click on this option then select the "Edit" button that is located to the right of the HLTV.cfg file.

4) Simply the instructions outlined in the configuration file to configure your HLTV proxy. Once completed make sure you restart your HLTV proxy.

5) Finally, go ahead and test your proxy and make any additional changes to the configuration, keep in mind that any configuration change requires a reboot. If you require any further assistance or run into any issues please open a support ticket so we can assist.
