Below are some questions and answers to some of the more common questions we receive from potential customers. If you have a

What control do I have over my server?

Q: What control do I have over my server?
A: You will have full access to your server by utilizing rcon, FTP or our easy to use control panel. You will be able to update any files you wish, add new files, start or stop your server and make any necessary changes as you see fit.
Q: Are your servers oversold or overloaded?
A: We employ possibly the STRICTEST game servers per box limitation in the game server industry; we only place 1.5 game servers per processor. Therefore a QUAD processor server would have a maximum of 6 game servers on it, you won't find another company who even comes close to these numbers.
Q: Why is moReal more expensive than some companies?
A: Simple, moReal represents quality, performance and stability, which come at a price. Our costs are much higher than other providers due to the quality of components and network we utilize, thus our game server pricing reflects the quality of service we offer.
Q: What are your server specifications?
A: Our minimum server configuration is Quad Core Xeon 2.4 GHZ, 2 GB memory and load balanced hard-drives. However our current server deployments are Dual Quad Core Xeons, 4 GB memory and load balanced hard-drives.
Q: Do you support anti-cheat clients?
A: We fully support and encourage the usage of Punkbuster & VAC and we enable them by default. Our game servers are also compatable with league based anti-cheat plugins such as zBlock.
Q: What payment types do you accept?
A: We currently accept Paypal, Credit Card and Money Order payments. Customers who wish to pay through money order need to email sales for arrangements.
Q: Can I run custom mods on my server?
A: Absolutely, customers who purchase public servers can run ANY mod they like. Customers who purchase private servers are restricted to loading league approved mods only such as zBlock, PAM and so on.
Q: What mods come pre-installed for COD4?
A: Our COD4 servers come pre-loaded and ready to go with league-required plugins such as PAM4 & DAMN. As such the required Punk Buster configuration file's are included as well.
Q: Do you support this game?
A: We currently support Counter-Strike:Source (CSS), Team Fortress 2 (TF2), Call Of Duty 4 (COD4) and Counter-Strike 1.6/Condition Zero. However we are capable and able to host the following games on special request Day Of Defeat 1.3, Day Of Defeat Source and Unreal Tournament 3.
Q: Do you offer a money back guarantee?
A: We offer a 48 hour FULL money back guarantee, if not satisfied with your server within the 48 hour time period simply submit a request through our online helpdesk for a refund.
Q: What type of support is available?
A: We provide customers with a true around the clock support solution, our helpdesk is available 24/7/365 for all of your support needs, our typical average response time is just minutes! We also offer live support through our website by simply clicking the "live chat" option when it's available, live support is available typically 16-20 hours a day.
Q: How long until my server is setup?
A: We begin setting up servers typically within one hour of an order being placed. Due to the sheer size of game server installs these days, it can take up to 10 hours for a new server to be created, however in most cases servers are setup within 3-4 hours.
Q: Which league files are preloaded?
For Counter-Strike:Source: CAL, CEVO, TWL, CGS, CPL & zBlock
For Counter-Strike 1.6/CZ: CAL, CEVO, TWL
For COD4 Modern Warfare: CAL, CEVO, TWL, TGL & PAM4/DAMN
For Team Fortress II: CAL, CEVO, TGL
Q: Do you offer trial servers?
A: We do not currently offer trial servers, all of our game servers come with a FULL 48 hour money back guarantee which can be viewed as a trial period.
Q: How can I test my connection to moReal?
Click here and select open in order to test your ping times to ALL of our network locations. Alternatively you can save this small file to your hard drive and open it from there.
Q: Do you offer multiple server discounts?
Customers who wish to rent more than one game server qualify for a multiple server purchase discount. The discount depends on the type of services being ordered and how many servers, please email sales@moreal.org for additional information or how to get started.
